A blog of workshop projects, repairs, rebuilds, and misadventures. Please be patient with me as I put the finishing touches on the site. We are still under construction

I’m no expert, but I’ve learned a thing or two…

So, what makes me think I can write a blog when even I admit I’m no expert? That’s a legitimate question and I’m not sure I have a good answer. I’m by no means an educated man in the sense of a “formal education”, but I’ve been around long enough to have learned a thing or two from those that came before me and have taught me a few skills and the importance good workmanship.

So, what the purpose of this? It’s really quite simple. I want to pass that knowledge along. Many of us take on workshop projects and work on various things whether it be out of necessity, enjoyment, or to make money. My goal is to help people learn, not just how to perform various tasks, but to understand the “science” behind how things work, are made, and why they break. To build upon that, I want to challenge people to open their minds to “out of the box” thinking in order to better themselves within their chosen craft. Come along with me so that we can learn from each other.

Visit my “About Me” page for more on my background and the purpose of this little written adventure we will embark upon. Remember to subscribe for updates and new posts.
